The Piedmont Hotel - 1996
This is all that is left of the Piedmont Hotel today. The Longstreet Society undertook a project to rebuild the Piedmont, and in the course of landscaping the ground, they found that part of this bottom floor of the original Piedmont still stood. The above part of the Piedmont has been restored and stands as a historical site in Gainesville.
